Hoian day your
We had Tommy (Hai) as our guide. We had booked a full day tour visiting Cham island to see carpentry village, boat building and rice noodle making, and mat making. Plus wanted to take in sights and culture of old city. Tommy was fantastic and great fun . He was well researched in the history of Hoian ( across all cultures) and was able to make the tour funny and enjoyable for our 2 kids aged 13 and 11. Temp was around 38 day we travelled so we didn’t cope too well in the heat, Tommy was able to be flexible and suggested we break the day around 2pm to give us a rest back at our hotel for a swim then picked us up again at 4 pm. We cruised about the town on bikes and he took us to two fantastic restaurants ( lunch and dinner) explaining all the dishes for us. The evening finished at the lantern festival in the old town with tommy explaining all the traditional things taking place. We found Tommy to have excellent English and was always kind ensuring we were safe and comfortable for our tour. — Traveller: simonaU701TG from Tripadvisor
Lovely full day Hoi An tour
We did a full day tour in Hoi An. Our responsible guide, Tommy, showed us around Hoi An and Cham Ki Island where we were able to learn about the culture of Vietnamese people. Tommy is a very nice guide who is very knowledgeable about the area, he is able to tell us a lot of history about the places and he could answer all of our questions. We had great fun touring around and we got to cycle around Hoi An and Cham Ki Island. We visited some local families in Cham Ki Island and we learnt to make rice noodle and we saw how people weave sleeping mats. Thanks to Tommy, we learn a lot about how locals there live. And one thing to mention is that Tommy is a really good singer. And Tommy was able to tailor the tour to meet our requests and was very thoughtful in planning the tour to make sure everything was smooth and no time was wasted. We would like to thank Tommy for his hospitality and passion. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to know more about the local lifestyle than just the ancient town of Hoi An. — Traveller: josephw351 from Tripadvisor
Awesome tour in Danang and Hoi An
We have Tommy as our guide for half day tour in Danang and followed by full day tour in Hoi An, it was just amazing! Tommy is a nice chap and he showed us many places of interests, culture, food etc. He is also good with camera, took some nice photos for our family! In Danang, we visited Marble Mountain, Lady Buddha, My Khe beach, Dragon bridge, all beautiful sights that must visit. We also enjoyed famous frog legs noodles, delicious and cheap! The next day we visited Hoi An. Which is the highlight of this trip. The cycling around the gorgeous ancient city and boat trip to Cam Kim, we get to see the villages ie. boating building, wood handcrafting, Pho making. Our trip to these places would not be fruitful and memorable if wasn’t for him. His service is really praiseworthy. — Traveller: RS3030 from Tripadvisor
