If you’re really wanting to see and learn more about Hoi An than and see beyond all those wonderful Tailor shops, Tommy is your guide. Nothing better than seeing all that Hoi An has to offer, visiting a family and making rice noodles, stopping by the local boat builders yard, taking your turn at weaving a mat. Fantastic tour of Hoi An
Our guide, Tommy and his driver picked us up from Chan May Port. From there, it was about a 90 minute drive to Hoi An via Da Nang. He took us to a local village known for their boat building and woodworking skills, we visited a family who made rice paper and noodles for sale at the local market (and had the opportunity to try our hand at it). Afterwards, we had a splendid lunch in Hoi An, followed by an extensive walking tour of Ancient Town. Tommy is native to the area, has excellent English skills and was very knowledgeable about the local area and its history Our tour was customized to our exact needs and wants. We were picked up and dropped off at the exact times requested, and traveled in a beautiful late model SUV. A Wonderful 5 days 4 nights in central Vietnam
We decided to book a full package in Da nang with Xuan Tu after reading the excellent reviews, which truly exceeded our expectations. We are a family of 6 members including a young children. This is our last minute holiday trip, booking with Xuan Tu made it easy, she is professional, and reply promptly to all my enquiries . We booked 4 tours (half day Da nang, full day Hoi An, half day my Son, and full day Hue) and 4 nights accommodation at “Mai Homestay”. We were welcome by Lam and his assistance tour guide at the airport on arrival. Lam is an amazing tour guide, he is humorous, friendly, and a person who is attentive to details. We had an unforgettable day with him in Da Nang. Throughout all the tours, Xuan Tu and her team members were all professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They all go extra miles to make sure that we all enjoy our day, and get most wonderful experience out of each tour. As we are travelling with young children, our needs are well taken care of and Xuan Tu is considered in planning our itineraries. Our stay at Mai Homestay with Xuan Tu and her family was one of the most unforgettable experience for us. They treated us like their family, and the best food we had in Da nang, was the home cooked food from Xuan Tu’s Mother. Great private family tour with Tommy!
We are a family of 7 who did an eco-tour with Tommy on 15 March. Our 4 kids had loads of fun riding a water buffalo, making rice noodles and riding bamboo boats. Tommy brought us to nice local cafes and restaurants and gave us many interesting nuggets of information about Hoi An’s history. Hoi An Day Tour with Quân
We visited Hoi An Ancient Town as well as some of the local villages nearby, where we learnt about the traditional Vietnamese carpentry, and were taught to make woven mats and rice noodles by the locals. The tour was really enjoyable and comprehensive, we definitely feel that we got the most of our time in Hoi An. The variety between the walking tour of the city as well as the more intimate view of the local village was really appreciated. Being able to be directly involved with the locals’ activities was a real highlight of our time in Vietnam. Our guide, Quân, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, with excellent spoken English. He is a genuinely great guy with a great sense of humour and made us feel very comfortable as he took us around Hoi An. Not only that, but he provided us with many excellent suggestions on places to visit and eat for the rest of our time in Da Nang. The excellent reviews for this company are well warranted. Xuân Tú was friendly and professional in her correspondence, with prompt replies outlining us with many options in both activities and available dates. We definitely feel the tour we booked was of exceptional value for a private tour of this calibre. We will definitely book with Xuân Tú again when we are next in Vietnam.
