50/50 DaNang and Ba Na Tour with My – Amazing!
My family and I just spent a day with My (pronounced “me”) and had an amazing time. My is an incredible host in her hometown of DaNang. Her smile is infectious and her English is near perfect. We visited the Ling Unh Pagoda at the end of the beach on Monkey Mountain (yes we saw some monkeys!). Then went into town for some coffee, the market, the Dragon and Love bridges and an early lunch (yummy Vietnamese pancakes!). Lunch for 5 with beers and sodas cost a total of $9 USD!!! Then, we headed out to the marble mountains with beautiful views, mysterious caves, and more pagodas. Next, we took an hour drive out to Ba Na Hills and Sunworld. You may think $35USD per person is expensive for Vietnam (it is), but I tell you – the cable car ride and the views by themselves are so worth it. This place is magical. On top of the mountain is a mini French Village – including a small Notre Dame. The views are like nothing I’ve seen before – and we travel often. My was there with us all day leading the way – her energy and enthusiasm made a really long day with lots of walking seem like the funnest day of our trip. Awesome private tour by MY and Hieu
Xuan Tu sent 2 tour guides for us. MY for 3 days private tour in DaNang city , Hoi An & Hue. Hieu for one day tour in Ba Na Hill. Both tour guides went extra miles in delivery of service with personal touch. Unlike other tours, the daily tour timing was flexible. No rush at all! MY is cheerful and approachable. She slotted our request for shopping of Ao Dai And jerseys. She is good in photo taking. During our journey, she is so thoughtful in offering cold bottled water and cold wet tissues at every spot of tour. With MY , we patronized best local food at reasonable price. It is beyond word to describe how MY clicked so well with us. We seem to know MY many years back although this was our first meet up. We let go our hearts and minds and togetherness like all friends do. Such awesome encounter is rare and amazing! we have never had such. Is a blessing to know MY. MY worked well with the driver on timing and tight schedule in delivery tip top service to us. The car was always right in front of us and cooling whenever we got in. Very thoughtful driver! For the Ba Na Hill tour, Hieu showed us all the best spots and manage time well to avoid large crowd. We enjoyed all his recommendation. On the way back to hotel, Hieu accompanied us to Big C supermarket and branded Vietnamese coffee Seller. This young man is energetic and full of life. You will feel younger if you keep up to his pace. I have read several reviews that mentioned Ba Na Hill has to reach as early as 7am to beat the crowd. We went to the Marble Mountain, had a walk around the Hoi An’s ancient city and ended our trip with Bana Hill. Our guides, Xuan Tu and Lam were very friendly and informative, they did a superb job in taking us around the city. They are very knowledgeable about the places and took us to all the nice corners that very few tourists know about. Also, the restaurants that they brought us to were very good and allowed us to really experience the local food like the locals. Not only that but they also took loads of beautiful pictures for us! Hice con Xuân Tu dos excursiones. La primera para conocer Da Nang y la Segunda para conocer Hue. Los coches muy cómodos, los dos guías muy simpáticos, tanto My como Lam hicieron muy bien su trabajo llevándonos además a lugares conocidos por vietnamitas a comer o a probar el café, que es una toda cultura aquí. American family with teens visiting Danang- great private tour
We used Lam with Xuan Tu tours to visit Bana Hills today. He was great! He knew all the tips on avoiding the crowds and took us through the sites easily. He helped us pick an amazing lunch and even helped us find a store on the way home to buy a couple misc supplies we needed.
