Fantastic day in Da Nang and Hoi An
I booked the tour with Xuan Tu based on the reviews she had on Trip Advisor. The 4 of us were to be in Da Nang for a day stop while on the Diamond Princess trip from Singapore to Tokyo. The day with her was the highlight of the cruise. She is a very dynamic and cheerful woman who has a great depth of knowledge about the area from both a historical and social point of view. She was able to provide us with an objective and somewhat positive opinion regarding her country. Her English is excellent and her command of idioms is very good. We covered a lot of territory and ate well. We have had many guides on several trips in Europe and South America. I would say that we enjoyed the day with her more than with any other guide. Danang Walking Food Tour – Expect the Unexpected!
We booked Xuan Tu’s Danang evening walking food tour and met tour guide Lam. A very friendly and approachable young man. Started with some light dishes at local shop, with detailed introduction of each dish. We were shown with many local dishes, went to places that we ourselves might not be able to find ourselves. We tried total of 15 dishes that night!!! Simple and humble but authentic local food! While trying this dishes, we leant the culture, the language and the heart of this city. Lam was a very patient and open young man who was willing to share his knowledge and experience with us. His openness had made trip beautiful and unforgettable. Something we didn’t ask for. My favourite food of the night – was the very humble “popiah” from the street – white color wrap, with the filling of coconut, sugar cane and sesame! The only dish that we didnt take photo of! Great tour with best guide- Duy
This is our first time to Danang and Hoi an. We met the best tour guide, Duy. He is friendly, very caring to the elderly, can speak in Mandarin and English well. We would highly recommend him. We had a wonderful time in Hoi an! — Traveller: sokkwan from Tripadvisor
Excellent Guide – Super Good With the Kids
We engaged this company on the back of good TripAdvisior reviews, and were very satisfied. The vehicle was very spacious and comfortable. We have 2 kids (aged 4 & 5) so we put them in the 3rd row, and me and my wife had a comfortable journey with the back seat to ourselves. We went island hopping on a boat ,actually 2 stops on the same island 🙂 We visited several carpentry establishments and then went on another coconut boat ride. The kids caught crabs and got little objects crafted from coconut leaves. The kids also had a chance to feed chickens and make rice noodles at a local household. Totally off the beaten track. After that, we had lunch at an organic farm before spending a whole afternoon in Hoi Ann. The best part of the tour had to be our guide, Hai. He was extremely knowledgeable, and was able to keep the energy level high, especially with the kids. He also accommodated detours for rest stops, and even a pit stop at a local minimart on the journey back. And oh yes, he even made us buy back famous sandwiches for our dinner. Will definitely recommend this company to all travelers to Da Nang. And ask for Hai. The company was very well organized (admin, booking, communication, etc.). Tour of Danang and Hoi An
After doing a careful research, I booked a tour of 25 people for my family and friends through Xuan Tu company. My first impression of Tu was her professionalism, kindness, passion for tourism and helping people. The tour guide assigned to us on the day was Hai. He was so helpful, friendly and informative. He did everything to ensure that we had a great time and were well taken care of. Hai also entertained us with his amazing “Vietnam idol” singing voice 😉 We had a great time and enjoyed the tour a lot.
