I had an international conference in Da Nang for 3 days. I extended may stay and took this guided tour to the city of Da Nang and Hoi An. The tour was arranged and booked by the conference organizer of Univ. of Da Nang. This was my first experience to have a private guide in Vietnam. It was a wonderful tour. Thuy, my tour guide. was excellent. She has deep knowledge of the history and the background of the places we visited, and could explain them to me very clearly. I learned a lot from her, especially the fact that there was strong relationship between Japan and Vietnam several hundreds years ago was quite new to me. She was also eager to lean new things from me. So we had a very good conversation during the tour. It was a very enjoyable tour for me.
