In January 2015 our small party of three friends, all of us older women, toured Hoi An and My Son with Xuan Tu. As others have already observed, Xuan Tu is, indeed, an extraordinary young woman. Besides her knowledge, energy, and profound love for Vietnam and its people, Xuan Tu shared her own story with us. We may not remember all the details in the wealth of information she imparted, but we will never forget Xuantu, her big heart, and her open mind and spirit.
