Amazing day in Hoi An with an amazing guide
We were lucky enough to have Xuan Tú as our private guide for a day of exploring Hoi An and Cam Kim island. Xuan Tú is a proud, knowledgeable and engaging guide who was extremely flexible and accommodating. Her willingness to share her amazing culture with us was greatly appreciated. We would never have found the incredible places we went to or had the experiences we did without her. First we ate at a place that had the best banh mi I have ever tasted!! We then walked through the markets to board a ferry to Cam Kim island where we rode bikes passed rice paddy fields, water buffalo, local homes and visited a family temple. We got to experience life in two family homes who make rice paper and sleeping mats, it was an incredibly humbling experience. They were so friendly and welcoming. We then caught the ferry back to Hoi An old town where we explored the streets and the amazing food Hoi An has to offer. Xuan Tú then took us to enjoy a Vietnamese feast at Mr Son’s which was delicious, fresh and cheap! We will be back for more! The tour finished off with a pleasant boat ride along the river taking in the magnificent lantern lights and Hoi An’s riverside atmosphere. A walk through the night market and the busy streets as Hoi An turned on a festive feel which completed an amazing day out with an incredibly gifted guide who provided us with memories and experiences that will last forever! We would highly recommend Xuan Tú to anyone who wants an authentic tour of this amazing country. We can’t thank you enough Xuan Tú. — Traveller: Catherine R from Tripadvisor

Two Thumbs up for Tommy !
I first visited Hoi An in Feb 2014 where I used the services of Xuan Tu and had such a marvelous time. She was superb. Fast forward to December, I decided to make a last minute decision to visit again. I decided to use her again for a day trip to Danang as it was a 1st visit for some of my family members. Xuan Tu herself was unable to be my guide (as she was already booked), so she recommended Tommy who was another guide on her team. Tommy was really good. He spoke good English. He was very kind, thoughtful and enthusiastic. He paid attention to the little things from giving us handwipes/ hand steriliser before our meals to writing down our names, food orders etc. He was very funny too with a great sense of humour and our family of 7 really enjoyed his company. He had great knowledge of the different sites we visited and was very flexible with the itinerary. Together with the driver, we had a great team that ensured a good experience for us. On the day of my departure fr Hoi An, Tommy dropped of some souvenirs on behalf of the company which was a really lovely gesture. I also found out that Tommy was the guide for my sis in law (who visited in Aug )and and my friend (who visited in mid Dec). Both told me that they really enjoyed having Tommy as a guide and liked how thoughtful and energetic he was. Thanks for such a memorable time Tommy and Xuan Tu. Good day, Good Tour Guide!
We experienced a great day visiting Da Nang with Xuan Tu on our 2nd day in Da Nang.. She was very passionate about her country. She is very knowledgeable and provided very insightful information about what we were seeing, the history around it, etc. She showed exciting destinations, etc. She had a great recommendation for lunch as well. And its cheap!! We asked a lot of questions and there were always immediate answers. She was also a very nice person, patient with us, flexible with the planning of the day and keen to adapt. I would definitely recommend her warmly if you want a great day in Da Nang. — Traveller: ZainorS1 from Tripadvisor
Amazing Day with Xuan Tu @ My Son Sanctuary, Hoi An Old Town & Cam Kim Island
We contacted Xuan Tu based on the wonderful feedback on tripadvisor and we must say she delivers as stated and more! She is full of energy and very passionate at what she does. She was not only our guide and our photographer, but also a little sister on our girls’ trip! We have always preferred to plan our own itinerary but decided to take it easy for this short getaway to Danang. Xuan Tu was very responsive from the initial email contact, and took on the challenge to show us everything we wanted to see in one full day tour (so we can just spa and relax for the rest of our stay!). Our wonderful day started with Xuan Tu meeting us at our hotel lobby, followed by car ride to My Son Sanctuary. She briefed us on the history and livelihood of her hometown along the way and stopped to get us ponchos in the pouring rain. She was very knowledgeable on explaining the history and culture on each sites we visited and took amazing photos for us! Lunch at Mr Son was delicious and we tried nearly everything on the menu! The highlight of the trip was making our way to Cam Kim Island on a local sampan, and cycling through the island to visit a few local businesses and families. We love working with kids and locals, and is great to see the heart of Xuan Tu in helping the local community in additional to strive for her own dream! The sunset view from the island was lovely and we arrived back to Hoi An Old Town for our evening stroll through the lantern lit streets. She offered us various options for dinner and we opted for the best Banh Mi before we call it a day. In addition to showing us around for our day tour she gave us additional information on where to visit on our own and where to get the souvenirs we wanted. It was a very short trip and we were only able to see everything because of Xuan Tu. Thanks for the amazing day and we look forward to visiting you home town again soon! All the best in the New Year! — Traveller: TSinSG from Tripadvisor
