Great time with Tram and Thuy
We did a Da Nang Day tour with Tram and Thuy from Hoi An. Both of them are very professional. They speak very good English. Tram even can speak Chinese. They explained everything in details. We had a lot of fun with the girls during the tour. BTW, when I indicated during reservation that my friend and I got injury of our knees, I just said that we would like to avoid stairs. Lam is AMAZING!
I found this tour guide group here on TripAdvisor, saw the great reviews, and decided to take a leap of faith and book them for a group of some of my top corporate donors (I work for a nonprofit that is working in Vietnam). I was SO impressed! When planning the trip, Xuan was very responsive via email and flexible with what we wanted to do. The tour was also very reasonably priced. We opted to get a van to pick up our group of 10 and Lam arrived with the van and started the tour off cracking the perfect jokes, gauging our group, and getting our humor perfectly. He created a tour that was so perfect for our group, taking us to see social enterprises and visiting local artisans. It was exactly what our group was interested in. We also got to go to the oh so famous ban mi spot and it didn’t disappoint! Lam was so flexible and just did what our group was feeling – stopped for coffee, stopped for a drink, did a bit of shopping, etc. He also had another person helping him on the tour (I feel awful, I can’t remember his name) and though he was quiet, he was AMAZING at making sure all of our group was always together and when one person strayed off, he would stay with them and bring them back to the bigger group. The tour gave us great insight on the local culture and didn’t feel like your typical tour at all. It was hilarious, informative, and so much fun, and I would 100% recommend them and WILL go out of my way to recommend this tour group to anyone visiting Vietnam. Perfection!
