Can honestly say that Lam is the best tour guide we have ever experienced throughout South East Asia and Australia. He was extremely knowledgeable, attentive and inclusive to all in the group. Lam openly engaged and entertained our 11yr old daughter and 13 year old son, no easy task. His personality, humour and love for his country and people was clear throughout the whole day. Our side trip to the rural Cam Kim Island allowed us to cycle through rice fields and communities to absorb more of what Vietnam is all about. The 2 families we visited on the Island openingly welcomed our family of 4 into theirs. We were able to observe and all participate in making rice paper and noodles in two separate homes. The idea that our tour went a small way to helping those families was a great feeling for us and also to Lam. Lam was willing to take photos of our family at any attraction. Everything ran smoothly, Lam was early for our hotel pickup, in between excursions we did not have to wait for our driver or boats. His knowledge of Hoi An was amazing and love for his job (Da NAng and Hoi An) was truly apparent. The best tour ever.
